Edutology is an educational and learning development consulting firm specializing in learning technologies for online learning in higher education, and these technologies are transferrable to a variety of education and business settings.

A Wyoming native, completed a B.A. in Communication and a B.A. in Spanish at the University of Wyoming in 2000, and an M.A. in Communication in 2005.  In 2015 she earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration with a distance education focus at the University of Wyoming. Her research areas include student engagement, trust and community building, online instructor presence, and faculty development for online teaching. Her passion for technology and teaching, learning, and distance education is exemplified in her professional experience as an Instructional Technologist who served to assist faculty with instructional design of online courses at the University of Wyoming, and currently as an Instructional Designer at Arizona State University. 

Athena has served as a researcher, instructor, and student services professional in higher education for over a decade at universities including the University of Wyoming, California State University San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus, Colorado State University Fort Collins, and Arizona State University. She has taught college courses in communication, marketing, GRE test preparation, the first-year experience for college students, and indoor cycling. Additionally, Athena is knowledgeable in professional image reinvention and sales; she has worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and United Chemicals of Belgium. 

Athena enjoys learning about education technologies, teaching courses, taking courses, and assisting individuals in achieving their goals. She is trained in life and success coaching and advising. She is also an educated nutrition researcher and an experienced fitness instructor and participant. She enjoys running, step aerobics, strength training, yoga, and indoor cycling.

Cody is the Manager of Course Design and Development at Purdue University, and interim Manager of Innovations in Technology and Learning, he previously spent five years as an Instructional Technology Educational Specialist at the University of Wyoming Outreach School. 

Cody leads a team of nine instructional designers and educational technologists, and serves as a member of the Purdue Teaching & Learning Technologies leadership team. Cody collaborates with IT and academic leadership across campus to envision, develop and grow University-wide faculty resources and programs to support exemplary face-to-face and online course design and development using innovative learning technologies and pedagogies.

At Purdue, Cody serves in a leadership role in Purdue's IMPACT program, partnering with the Center for Instructional Excellence and Libraries program in helping faculty redesign large foundational courses for student-centered learning and furthering Purdue's strategic goals toward student success and affordability. 

At UW, Cody worked with faculty and instructors in the development, design and support successful and effective delivery of academic credit courses to students at a distance. Further, he administered the creation of course websites, and oversaw enrollment management for the campus-wide learning management system. He led in the troubleshooting problems with the implementation and performance of instructional design products for online education.

Cody has worked alongside instructional designers to create professional development opportunities for educators in higher education, k-12, and support sustainable adoption of technology.  Cody also has experience collaborating with marketing teams in the design, development and maintenance of distance education research web sites, and employed web 2.0 tools for use in marketing, recruitment, and student social networking applications. 

Cody has a strong background in web development, he founded Connor Web Solutions (CWS) in 2006 and provides web development and consulting services to clients across the country.
